News sort of related to garden is, my phone has died. More like in limbo but unresponsive and if I can't get it working again, pictures will be different. I'll have to bring my ipad with me out to the garden to take pictures.
Other news, which I don't have pictures of is there are definite signs of caterpillar damage on the tomatoes where I found the other one. I only took one picture this morning and most of the other pictures are from last night.
Two different plants, the one on the right has water/sun damage I suspect. Will be watering in the evening from now on so they're dry by the time the sun comes up.
Definite yellow leaves on the center plant in the north bed. Things aren't looking good for those tomatoes. The sunflower is now at the top of the stick, it's gained at least six inches since it was planted. Glad it's liking where it's at at least.
Still covering up the cucumbers even tonight as big as they are. Don't want to take any chances even when they get bigger. I can hope that in about a week they'll be able to survive anything that may try to munch them.
The tomato that had the most blossom rot is now showing signs of the flowers not holding. The fruit is also kind of wrinkled, not smooth so it's not looking to good for that one or the middle one.
Oh, the left picture is actually of Layla's bush, hers is definitely a different variety with bumpy shoulders and more round shape, might even be kind of striped too. Good luck to her on those I think the bush may have rooted out through the bottom of the pot as healthy as it looks.
Just reference pictures and hoping the streaks on the bottom of that one fruit is just from me mishandling it. As long as the caterpillar doesn't ruin all the fruit on that other bush I will still have plenty of fruit. More than last year for sure.
With my luck, it's going to end on downturn after me crowing about all of them.
That's all I've got tonight with everything else that's happened. Will see what the next day brings.
