Better breezy day not much else.

So it is cooling down finally and there's a wonderful breeze we may not even crack 80 outside. But as I said, once the sun gets over the building and hits the front wall, it turns into an oven so will likely be closing up about the same time today. It might get back up to the 80's in another week or two but cooler weather is here finally.

I think the little bait tomatoes I have put out have spawned new plants. Oops. I have plans for that bed, not going to nurse along another tomato (she says stamping her foot but taking pity on the little things).

I thinned out the trellis tomato, discovered the bulk of what was there are new sprouts coming up. Just waiting for those last tomatoes to get a bit more red. Wondering if I should put a shade cloth or something on them to encourage them being red and not sun damaged. I picked four of them this morning and dropped two before I even left the garden. Oh well, they were just bruised, no real damage.

I discovered that one female was wide open and then a second one off to the left, luckily there were at least three or four male flowers to do the pollinating. Lots and lots of tiny thrips milling around in the flowers. But they weren't doing much pollinating.

The strawberries are continuing to grow yay! I might even put them out in the sun when it is not so heinously hot. The onions are doing good too, still only two cilantro over there and nothing yet from the west bed but trying to keep the soil moist over in the sun.
Until I can amend that soil with the onions not going to be tossing any lettuce seeds in there. I should start them inside at this point so they're at least big enough to survive. Full shade winter veggies, about the only options are onions and leafy greens.

Not much else for photos or news this time around. Will see what I do this evening but again, likely not much else to do.
Funny how the weather app says the wind is calm, but it is not where I am.
