Forgot to post yesterday

Oh well, not much happening anyway but here it goes. It's warmed up a bit more today than yesterday so we're closed up for a while until the sun gets over the other building and it cools down again. Got some pictures of the plumeria that's still blooming and more holes and evidence the gophers are still active. Obviously looking for food, maybe if they discover there is no more food around they'll move somewhere else.

The plumeria flowers smell wonderful, the one I have in my hand was on the ground so no, I did not pick it from the plant. I remember customers raving about how plumeria are so fragrant but me smelling the flowers at the nursery it wasn't anything fantastic. Much like roses, variety makes a big difference.

The dirt in the holes is new, there wasn't that much before and that one gaping hole next to the board is bigger. If they aren't eating that Jade plant due to taste or sap or whatever there is nothing for them to eat in that garden. Only other thing that would deter them is more activity digging the dirt and disturbing the soil.

I couldn't tell quite what bug was causing havoc on the plumeria, but I think it might be scale but there are two bug looking things there as well. The leaf was above me and had to hold my phone up to get a picture zooming in on the picture isn't helping.

Remember me scoffing at the tomato plant that was in front of the ac unit there? Hmmm, not seeing any sign of it. Now it's entirely possible since it may have been in a pot they just gave it away. I think not though.

I guess that's all the pictures I can do since formatting and Blogger are being stupid today. I had pictures of the pepper plant that seems to be putting out better peppers and yet more dirt movement around the bucket.  Still looking forward to getting that raised bed going. Crossing fingers and looking forward to nice, healthy dark soil to grow things in.

Well, calamity struck.

I never got out to the garden yesterday because I figured it wasn't worth it. I should have watered because it's been dry of course...
