And like that, the weather changes.

I smelled the fog come in last night, wonderful cool moisture. This morning it was still a little overcast but cleared off by 11 am. Wonderful light breeze as well and the weather app says it won't even crack the high 70s much this week and next. There's a slim chance of rain for tomorrow supposedly, not sure when considering how clear it is right now. The weather is so weird.

As always, starting with flower pictures as much as possible. Zinnias are doing great and the little single pink rose is putting out a seed pod. Going to keep track of that and hope to collect it next spring.

Those poor onions, not doing well at all due to the heat and transplant. Will keep them in there for now but decided to cultivate the rest of the bed because it was compacted so much it worried me. Not that  I have seeds in there that are doing anything but I will soon.

I decided to use up the last of the fertilizer as well, there wasn't much but something is better than nothing. The onions almost got completely covered but you can see how dark the soil is now compared to the surface. Everything is loosened up and fluffy now.

All smoothed out with a log and ready to plant now. I watered what containers needed it as well. All the round pots except the rose needed some and of course those trays are always damp.

Put all of them in the sun for today since it's not going to be blazingly hot and one of the older red potatoes has a spur growing. I just don't know how to accelerate the rest of them. Put them in a bag with an apple?

The lettuce is looking much better with more coming up. Those will be ready sooner than the potatoes I think. Silly plants...

Guess that's all for today. Waiting for the sweet pea seeds and then maybe will put some carrot seeds in among the lettuce very carefully. I don't trust that raised bed in full sun quite yet for cool season root crops.

Transition season is certainly a rollercoaster.

Well, calamity struck.

I never got out to the garden yesterday because I figured it wasn't worth it. I should have watered because it's been dry of course...
