Weather is a ditto from yesterday, a bit more nippy actually but it's all good. It was 41 outside at 7:30 this morning... brrrr. Warm sun and breeze was great though.
In the summer there are flowers and veggies, in the fall and winter there are leaves and trees with color. Both pictures are looking toward where the garden is. The picture on the right is a straight shot to the distant tree and the entrance to the garden area. I wanted to get a picture of the huge pile of leaves that was around the tree and sitting area.
It seems two of the cilantro survived transplant. Probably because they were in the shade the whole time. The sweet peas are almost big enough to move to the trellis. The two snow peas are still moving a bit slow due to the soil temperature.
The other Romaine are also getting big and will need to be separated or thinned eventually. I also dug up the potato that was coming up in the corner, I think there was one small spud (either part of it or from the other plant there) no bigger than a half inch. I pushed that down into the dirt next to the transplant. I'm hoping to be harvesting tons of spuds in the spring.
I was almost tempted to disperse the peas and the cauliflower but held off, they're all still too small. So not much else to do, oh I have three green onions I started in water so will put those out tomorrow somewhere. Haven't head a chance to get any seeds.
I am really hoping for lots of potatoes in a few months.
