Still clear and dry, with only some haziness to the west occluding the sun momentarily. Wonderful mild breeze coming through the window right now since the front door is open. Really nice fall feeling. Other than that, we're expecting cloudy and possibly rainy weather over Christmas week. That will be interesting to say the least.
I took a chance with a picture of the clouds and had hoped I didn't get the sun involved but there it is. An amazing chance shot with the sun and clouds. And then just the changing colors of the trees. The hawks are back in the neighborhood this week, just heard one of them again today.
Where there is rain, there is a rainbow. Really had to water things a bit due to it being so dry lately. Even the 'wild' cilantro got some water. I pointed that out to Dolores who said that she loved cilantro, told her that's the 'community' cilantro now.
I think the green onion seeds are coming up finally in the west bed and the carrot seeds are increasing. Not just in that corner but starting to come up along that side.
Things are getting exciting now but there's also less room to keep the pots in for sun. Seeds coming up on the right, the left, the trellis...yay!
Almost put the container of cauliflower in that spot until I saw the little green sprig coming up. So, where to put the containers... aha!
Turned the crate in the corner so the long side was up and voila! A shelf for them to set on still in the sun. That left picture is going to be a reference photo for sure in three months.
The west bed, carrots starting to show true leaves, the cilantro growing even faster I think. I snapped off the other potato leaf that was all wilted unfortunately. Left the root in place and that mud patch is a marker for where it is.
I decided to peek at the compost bucket that was a soggy smelly mess before. It's broken down a bit but I also don't remember putting those egg shells in there whole. I never have done that. Wonder who decided to do that? Will have to get something and mash that up and toss the other green bits on top of it. No smell detected at all so that's good.
The azalea bush is flowering off and on, it really must be one of the Encore type because it has very little downtime and this time of year it should not have flowers typically. But with this kind of weather, a lot of things are blooming that shouldn't be.
So, things are looking up and out more now. I have angels in my life that are my good close friends who have helped me once again. My life is blessed having them and I know I can never repay them but they know they are greatly appreciated.
