It's kind of oppressively warm but it's only 71 right now. There's some breeze but it's not cold, it's almost the same temperature as the air. Rain is supposed to happen tomorrow and hope that it happens after the outdoor potluck that's planned. 40-43% chance of rain, sometime tomorrow.
I almost watered but held off on the chance of that happening sooner than later.
I had brought my clippers with me to trip some of the chives for later and decided it was time to pull up the zinnias. Now the bed is open and ready to have the cauliflower and whatever else I want to put in there. I didn't take pictures of the roots, but you can see the plants there. Root area was relatively small because I wasn't going to dig up that area just for some roots. That potato is growing a bit slower than the other one but that could be due to a lot of factors, mostly not as much sun as the other bed is getting. The cilantro and carrots are doing great and there's even more carrots showing up in the other bed.
Well it was bound to happen. One of the romaines was munched, another one (upper right) is a bit wilted and the third is going strong. Not a big deal really but was just hoping they would all thrive. Wish the cauliflowers would start jumping a bit more so I can get those planted out.
That's all the pictures I have for today, there's other things on my mind at the moment and since nothing new is happening garden wise, that's about it.
