Deep powder blue skies with a hint of wispy clouds here and there. Barely a breeze and warm sunny skies make for a perfect fall day. Just cool enough for being 'sweater weather' if I had a good sweater to wear.
Jacaranda is still in leaf because it's on a different weather schedule than what we have. The blue in the sky is only slightly lighter than in the picture. Perfect color for backing the Eucalyptus tree as well.
There are now three sweet peas breaking the surface! Yay! Fourth one is likely not far behind. I think by the time those are big enough to transplant I'll know whether the snow peas have succeeded. I found this strainer and dish on the community table. It was rather dirty and since I didn't know what I would use it for in the kitchen, it is now one of my tools for sifting soil. I also found a small plastic colander of a similar size and make so will be using that as well.
Water in the bucket caught an earwig. Definitely drowned in there and good riddance. All the cauliflower seedlings have a new leaf coming out. Yay! Those will be ready to transplant by the end of the month for sure.
Fall is spring only backwards according to the plants at least.
That's it for this time. Might skip a day of posting just because there's so little happening.
